I just received an e-mail from an LC friend warning me that I might have
a virus as she had received several posts from me with a subject line but
no message. I have not posted to her myself in over a month.

I just called and asked my son the computer guru if it's possible. Of
course, this being race day, he said he'd investigate it tomorrow. He
said it is entirely possible that someone else has a virus and that it's
stealing my address.

I've been getting quite a few very strange posts where I know neither the
sender (which wouldn't be unusual since many write after reading
Lactnet), but the subject line makes no sense. I never open the
attchments for fear of getting a virus.

Just today I got one that uses the URL "LACTNET.(and it had the rest of
the peachease etc. there) ...A very humour game" in the subject line,
and an attachment. I deleted it unread simply because I know Lactnet
itself never comes with attachments.

Is anyone else getting any similar things?

Jean
