There would need to be a blinded study of this accounting for the placebo
affec,t which can be quite powerful. So if a woman strongly believes that
using the placenta in this way will help her, then it might, but not
because there is anything active actually in the capsules, but simply
because she so strongly hopes or believes that it will.
