Sudden thought -- which very occasionally I have...

I just read Fiona's post about the side effects of nifedipine causing
vasodilation and flushing and the use in vasospasm of the nipples. My
question is, could Niacin be used with the same results? Niacin causes
vasodilation and flushing -- boy, do I remember! -- Would this be useful in
this instance? I'm not familiar with nifedipine, and think I must have
missed Tom's post on it when AOL decided to go on a digest strike for me.
What is the trade name for it?

Thanks,

Jan B.
