I commented earlier on what it would be like to see a country that combines
normal breastfeeding with our current best in nutrition and medical care.
Rachel Myr responded with

Which makes breastfeeding most decidedly a minority behavior in Oslo!  Only
40% of children make it 40% of the way to the youngest age for normal
weaning.

And Norway is the Best of the West.  So we're still a very long way from
seeing how healthy a human population can be...
