Anyone out there from Tenn? There's a new law regarding public breastfeeding, but *only* if the child is under 12 months of age. What is even worse, is that breastfeeding is only exempted from the public indecency statutes if the mother is breastfeeding a child under 12 months of stage. Basically, if you nurse a child over 12 months of age in Tenn. you can be charged with public indecency. HB3582, Chapter No. 617.
In my view, this is worse than not having any protection at all.
