This appeared in today's Intellihealth - a publication from Johns Hopkins:

To determine if fat- and cholesterol-restricted diets might help prevent this
rise [in cholesterol as older children and young adults], they enrolled
nearly 1,100 Finnish 7-month-olds on either normal diets or diets in which
just 30% to 35% of daily energy was sourced from fat. These healthy, low-fat
diets contained equal portions of saturated, monounsaturated and
polyunsaturated fats, and reduced daily cholesterol intake to less than 200
milligrams per day.
The researchers examined each of the children when they reached 5 years of
age.
The team reports that the intake of fat, saturated fat and cholesterol of
children on the restricted diet was "markedly below" that of children who ate
normal, Western-style diets.

Just sitting here wondering if the ABM companies will now offer ABM "light"
and ABM "fat-free" ("now with XX% less fat and cholesterol than breastmilk!")
