I find it sad that wealthy actresses need to promote Pampers and
Pharmaceutical cos in their causes.  Vaccines are not the answer, they are
an attempt at a "quick fix".  The real answer lies in providing clean
drinking water, food and education.  These are not quick fixes, they are "up
at dawn, toiling, working till your back breaks fixes" and they are the only
things that will bring down the IMR in places where it is over 50 per l,000.
This has been shown over and over.  I'd love to see Selma take off her
makeup and use her wealth to bring clean wells and farm utensils to these
people.
