The show I'm on airs this Friday, November 8.  There
is no mention of me on the website, so I suspect I'm
the tiny segment.

The wad of cash post by Magda brought to mind the
show.  The Dr.Phil show paid airfare, had cars pick us
up, paid hotel and a per diem for meals.  But it was a
lot of work and I felt that I should get an honoraium
too.  The field taping took almost all of a Saturday
and was a lot of work.  The flight with my 3 children
took a lot of energy- although they did fly my husband
out after the taping so we flew home together.
Tipping took several little wads of cash- how much do
you tip a limo driver anyway?!  I was starting to get
sick before the show, which I staved off through sheer
energy, but then the week afterwards was a wash
because I felt dreadful.  So yes, even if I'd been
paid, it would have been a lot of work for the money.
