Try it again. It is still there.

=============
Thanks to Liz for alerting us to this latest move from IBLCE.

I tried to open the old code of ethics using the link in your post, Liz, but
although the browser window says I am in the code of ethics pdf, there is no
such .pdf in evidence and the drop down menu mentioned in the sparing text
that is on the page, is not there either. Seems they have already removed
the old text from the website, which is a bit surprising since it is still
in effect, is it not?

I encourage everyone to use Liz's post as a template for letters to IBLCE.
Be short and to the point and let them know we are concerned. We can't have
a licensing body that doesn't understand the WHO code and the role it plays
in our work. If this keeps up I will consider it a liability to have the
initials IBCLC after my name, rather than an asset.

If anyone has the original text and could post it here at the archives
website, it will be available for everyone, even if IBLCE make the proposed
changes, so we will continue to be able to compare the two.
