There is the acronym RTFM (as in, excuse me please, "Read The F*&%ing
Manual") that was born of such frustrations.  It's not pretty, or
polite, but at times does fit the bill.  ;-)  Unfortunately the
undeserving and innocent also get RTFM'd at times, as well those
deserving bozos who do sign up for things without reading a word of
instructions.  Being a sysadmin in any capacity is a difficult balancing
act and some people cope better than others.  It's hard to deal with the
same simple problems over and over!

This is certainly one of the friendliest on-line communities I have ever
belonged to, and the one I model my own lists after.  Kathy B. and the
other listmoms bend over backwards to address issues without singling
anyone out.  Here's my bow of respect!
