Hi Karleen

I wonder if what has been discovered and researched about the female
primates raised in captivity not knowing how to be a mother and breastfeed
(and being taught by human mothers breastfeeding) might be a way to start
your search for this information.

Cheers
Del

Subject: trouble with breastfeeding because of bottles

I was wondering if any of you are aware of anywhere (books, papers etc)
where it describes/states that mothers sometimes have difficulty with
breastfeeding because they have only ever seen/used bottles to feed babies
before or where it talks about women trying to breastfeed like they would
bottlefeed (eg try to put the breast in the baby's mouth rather than bring
the baby to the breast or hold the baby face up rather than turned towards
her).
I'd appreciate any help you can give me!
