Good morning to you all .
This request is slightly off topic, but I would
appreciate your understanding and assistance, if
possible.
Most of us, I believe, have tried cabbage
compresses with our engorged mothers. My
children have heard me talk about various
complementary therapies over the years and now
my son, who is an Athletic Training major in
college needs to do a small, informal research
project. He has asked for my help in locating
research articles or information addressing the anti
inflammatory properties of cabbage compresses for
use in treating sports injuries. After checking the
archives and a couple of other resources, I haven't
been able to locate anything except for breast
engorgement. I (we) would greatly appreciate any
information any of you could share that you have
seen in reading about the effect of cabbage
compresses or where to find additional information
to support the use of cabbage compresses as an
anti infalmmatory agent - ie: for use with sprains,
etc.
Thanks so much for your help. I think it's
wonderful that some of these therapies are now
being explored on the college level.
Please email me privately with any information.
