Hello fellow Lactnetters.  I have been lurking for quite awhile, enjoying it
tremendously.  I am an IBCLC for five years working at a local hospital for
the last 4.  Had a private practice for a couple years.  Helped start the BF
Peer Counselor Program here.  Got started with all this by being a LLL Leader
for 6 yrs. prior to sitting for my board.  Had some wonderful mentors in the
Charlotte,  North Carolina area.  Used to be in eyecare field---that was my
college major.  Most of the time love what I'm doing.  Recommend having a
calling to everyone.   We have 2 children and yes they were breastfed for
longer than most in the USA.  Look forward to seeking counsel from the many
learned Lactnetters and sharing what I have had the priviledge to learn.
