I have worked with a fair number of ladies over the years who have had
hysterectomies and breastfed. Since the ovaian produded hormones have little or
nothing to do with milk supply, it shouldn't be a problem with an already
established milk supply.

The only patient I remember who had a problem had an emergency C/S with
severe hemorrhage, and hyster within 12 hours of birth. I suspect the problem
there was the hemorrhage.
