I need some "help" ... my nutrition text is giving my class the impression that the FDA of the US inspects just about every crumb that is served the American public ... I remember the WISE ONES on the forum talking about the percentage of foods that are not regulated but instead rely on industry "say-so" on their safety (including formula, but I know it went beyond that) ... now I can't find such discussions in the archives ... I must not be searching correctly, or perhaps this took place buried within another conversational thread?

I would just like to present the class with some of that info ... like the "generally considered safe" thing, etc. (They all pretty much know how I feel about BM vs. ABM at this point ... this is a continuation of that theme, I guess you could say.)

Anybody know what I'm talking about?
