 From the terminology and style of this response, I think this was 
written by a British woman - a UK nursery nurse is not an RN 
equivalent.

UK nursery nurses *should* be good at bf support. They have very 
little medical or clinical input in their training, and so there is 
plenty of space for learning about normal infant needs and 
development and how this impacts on breastfeeding,  but this seems 
not to be the case in most training courses, from what I have seen.
