I agree. 

First I must say that i work with some great pediatricians and there is a great deal of mutual respect between us. But none of these pediatricians believe that there is a 'risk' associated with formula. They still see 'breastfeeding has benefits' but they wont or can't grab the fact that formula has risk. I was told by one doctor that she wouldn't use the terms 'risk of formula use' because 'if' a child had to use the formula she wouldn't want the parents scared of the 'risk' and refuse to use formula. 

I truly believe the change will come when the wording is changed in the research reports. Once the reports start saying 'formula increases a child's risk of x,y,z' instead of 'breastfeeding was found to have a decreased risk of x,y,z'
