In response to the comment that a lead level of 13 is not associated with
learning problems:

Lead levels between 10 and 20 (previously considered low) ARE associated with
permanent irreversible learning problems (emphasis intentional).  There is a
considerable body of information about this in the pediatric literature.

As this is not a central topic for LACTNET please email me if you want
references, additional information.
