I skimmed the article over and it wasn't really against breastfeeding. It was extreme satire against a proposed law that employers could refuse to cover medications that might cause miscarriage (spontaneous abortion). He was saying that if you prevent women from getting certain medications because they might, in rare cases, cause a spontaneous abortion, then you should also ban exercise by pregnant women, or even women who might become pregnant as some researchers claimed that vigorous exercise in early pregnancy might cause a spontaneous abortion. In the same satiric vein, he was saying that by that same logic that breastfeeding should be banned because some felt it might cause an early s.a.
The fact that someone on LN saw it as opposing breastfeeding reinforced my concern with the article - that people would miss the intended satire and take it seriously.
Please do not take this as any attempt to take either side on the abortion issue! I am merely pointing out what appeared to be the author's intent with the examples he gave in his attempt to poke fun at those opposing abortion.

Winnie
