It's not unusual for babies to suck differently on each breast.  Perhaps
the nipple is shaped a little differently, or the mother does not
support the baby as well with her non-dominant hand, perhaps the baby
has a unilateral issue, and clamps more on that side.
If there is vasospasm, I'm convinced there is nipple compression.
Sometimes the latch has to be absolutely, positively perfect in order
for the baby not to compress the nipple.
I would certainly offer the mom the same suggestions we make for
bilateral vasospasm.
