In response to the question on Aloe vera for nipples.  It has a very strong
taste and a slimy consistency when fresh.  It also has a laxative or
purgative effect when taken internally and can cause intestinal cramping. (
see Rodale's Herbs and  The Herb Book by Lust)  It definitely is a smell to
get use to.  I have not had direct knowledge of the others in the aloe
family.  I would try it for nipple care but I'm likely to experiment.
