A 41yr old para2, baby 3 weeks old. History of low supply 4 years
ago with 1st babe, used a supply line (supplementer) for 8 months until
started solids. 4 yr old still B/F. Mum's supply low again with this babe.
History of allergies. Mum very committed and keen not to give anything other
than breastmilk. Banked milk not available in Australia.
Mum looked hot in clinic today. When asked, she describes frequent
episodes of sweating both day and night, but mainly night.Heavy sweats
soaking the bedlinen etc. I am suspicious this mum may have some sort of
Pituitary problem and suggested prolactin and thyroid levels be checked.
What do you think? Would Dr Jack's fenugreek and blessed thistle help? If
so, how much how often. I'm not familiar with this regime.
