Dear all, and Barbara. Thank you very much for the great note on standards,
and on the frustrations of private practice LC standards. Barbara, you have
a unique and wonderful perspective, and I so appreciate what you are saying.
I thank you for your contributions in so many ways, and I stand corrected.
ILCA does have a standard of care for the first fourteen days, I believe.

I don't think it is universally implemented.... But it should be.
 The variation in practice is what I have a problem with, and indeed, the
gold standard of lactation practice being an entry level does not jive.

Looking forward to more of Barbara's posts on this subject.
