I think we need to be careful when telling people to give their babies
chamomile tea. From what I've read, it is related to ragweed, and lots of us
are allergic to THAT.   I know that when I used to drink chamomile tea, my
chest (internally) would feel all scratchy.  We need to be cautious with so
called natural remedies, they haven't been studied for use in infants (or
adults for that matter!) Don't misunderstand though-I myself use herbal
remedies and find alternative medicine fascinating. I am studying
aromatherapy now, and it seems to be one modality that can do no harm
(although same cautions for other people's children!)
