No, No, No!  Do not counsel the mother to pump and dump (more accurately
described as sacrificing breastfeeding on the altar of our ignorance).
This is erythropoietin, almost for sure.  Erythropoietin is produced by
the kidney normally to increase red cell production.  It is given to
premature babies, for crying out loud.

If in doubt, it is safer for the baby to continue breastfeeding, not
stopping.
