My first question is why use any drug that is not compatible with bf when
there are so many that *are?* Ridiculous. Talk about "sacrificing bf on the
altar of ignorance, " ? a la Jack Newman MD.

You do not have to see yeast for it to be a problem. How was she treated?

I'd go to Cindy's page at www.breastfeedingonline.com, and read the pieces
there on yeast, including Jack Newman MD's piece, and then go and find
Karen Zeretzke's page on it on the LLL website, at www.lalecheleague.org.

I'd bet dollars to donuts it's fungal infection that has not been
thoroughly treated.Of course it can be other things. There are 900 reasons
for pain, but after antibiotics, this is the main one.
