Hello. Just a short review of commands for working the listserv, for those
of you who might like it.

Remember, there are TWO addresses involved in this and all listserv email
groups. One is a COMPUTER address where you send commands..
[log in to unmask] The other is a MESSAGE address where you send
your message so that it can be redistributed to the whole group, at this
point around 49 I think. The MESSAGE address is [log in to unmask]

These are simple commands that will tell the UMMED computer to change the
settings on your subscription to LACTNET..Where it says insert listname, put
LACTNET. If you leave for any length of time and will not be checking your
mail, for instance, send the listserv COMPUTER address ie
[log in to unmask] a command that says SET LACTNET NOMAIL. When you
get back, send a command SET LACTNET MAIL. This is just one example.

To Subscribe SUB listname <your_real_name>
To Unsubscribe SIGNOFF listname
To Stop List Mail Temporarily SET listname NOMAIL
To Restart Mail SET listname MAIL
To Receive A Copy Of Your Mail SET REPRO
To See Your Distribution Options QUERY listname
To Get A Listing Of All The Commands HELP
To Get A List Of All Subscribers And
   The List Header REV listname

Please save for future reference. When I started doing this type of thing, I
cut it out and taped it to the computer screen so I would keep stuff straight...
