I was at the Super Bowl yesterday (volunteering to work the concession stand
to raise money for my son's soccer team). It was a lot of fun and work, but
seeing all the people was facinating. Had to tell you the interesting story
that happened. About the time the game was going to start, a young woman came
to the ice cream and soda stand I was at and ask the my "co-worker" if she
knew where a plug in was. She said you couldn't find one in the bathroom and
could we help her. Instinctively, I knew what she needed the plug in
for.........Sure enough, hanging over her shoulder was that black bag!!!. I
pointed to it and said, "I know what that is, that is what I do for a living".
She was from Denver and had a 2 month old baby and very much needed to pump.
We found her a plug in at the back of the area I was working. We talked for
awhile and then she let me take a couple of pictures of her pumping and
carrying the back among the crowd. It was cool........helping a breastfeeding
mother at the Super Bowl!!!!
