Mom has been struggling with milk supply. All the usual things have been done with minimal effect. We recently had prolactin levels checked, they were 178 prior to a feed and 184 40 minutes into a feed. Any idea why this mom may not be having prolactin surges? Would this explain her low supply? I recently listened to the lecture on GOLD but was unable to go back and make notes (it had been my intention) so can't quite remember the details.

Any insight would be appreciated,
Sonya
