Another possible reason for women wanting to pump rather then put their babes
to breast may be issues around body image, or sexual abuse.
Many of my clients are adolescent moms.  One client has been pumping for over
3 1/2 months, but the thought of putting the baby to her breast is too 'gross'.
She is battling anorexia and who knows what other demons.
