That's funny that your husband still recommends the plastic bottle liners.
My husband is the opposite.  He began noticing that my son was getting picky
about his expressed breast milk.  He put two and two together and figured
out he didn't like the milk that was stored in the liners... only the milk
stored directly in bottles.  So he did a taste test himself and said he was
horrified at how terrible the milk in the liners tasted!  I never used
another bottle liner after that!  So my husband wasn't just listening... he
was tasting too!
