I want to thank everyone for their responses. I am still stumped though. I
would think that if this was due to sexual trauma ect it would last
throughout the nursing and not end with ejection. The entire episode lasts
only seconds, but thank you as this is something to think about. Also this
woman has neither exibited nor expressed any revulsion to her baby,
intimacy or breastfeeding.

Also, this mom has no pain either with latch or ejection, so pain is not a
factor in the episode.

I have had some contact with some women, now, who have had similar anxiety
reactions and I am leaning toward my original theory that she has a
paradoxical reaction to oxy.

Any ideas for treatment? Someone suggested antidepressants but we both
agreed that these might not be warrented for a symptom that only last a few
seconds.
