Jennifer,
I hope this baby is doing better, but this is what I would have suggested to
a family. I would give the baby Rescue Remedy very often (you can rub it on
the skin if uncomfortable with the tiny amount of alcohol). There are 38 Bach
Flower remedies in all (hundreds more of other types). I would also use
Clematis--helps the baby to be present/to thrive and Star of Bethlehem which
is used for shocks, trauma and grief. Also, I would suggest the parents learn
infant massage and massage the baby several times per day. If this did not
seem sufficient, I would seek out another kind of bodywork, such as
cranial-sacral therapy, which addresses many emotional aspects as well as
physical. Oh, and the mom (dad too, if willing) needs to be treated in the
same ways, as she and the baby are certainly connected emotionally.
