Dear Laura,
I think what you are missing about the juices is that they are just not
necessary!  Breastmilk is approx. 90% water so it's really all they need even
in a hot climate.  Whenever anything else (juice, water etc.) is given it
fills baby up making him less interested in bfing.  Since BM is a superior
food you are substituting with an inferior food when anything else is given.
