Nancy,  I'd encouage you to ask your circle of friends, clients, etc. for
stories re: older relatives supporting their bf.  What I've found
anecdotally is that the really old, as in early 80's, remember when bf
and co-sleeping was the norm.  My own FIL, before he passed away, was
very pleased we breastfed our children, as he and his 9 siblings on the
farm were all breastfed, and he knew it was "so good for babies."
