Dear Lactnet Friends,

I have been off Lactnet for several months, and I miss the give and take!

As a project of WABA's Gender Working Group, I will be presenting a poster
on gender and breastfeeding at the ILCA/VELB conference in October. The
poster text is about 150 words, and we would love to do a German version as
well as English.

The text identifies seven aspects of a woman's daily life where gender roles
may be a factor.such as power relations, the workplace, nursing in public,
body image, etc. The background is a wonderful photograph of a nursing baby,
mother and father. The poster will be about 2 meters high and 1 meter wide,
made of a sturdy flexible plastic and printed in color.

So.is there a person or group in German-speaking ILCA who is interested in
doing a translation and has time to do it THIS WEEK? In return, the
translator would get a copy of the poster to keep, after the conference.

Please let me know off line if this interests you.

Cheers,

Chris
