Well, about.com is a huge network of informational sites maintained by paid "guides", and the guide on this page is a well-known, published pediatrician. I really do think his "heart is in the right place", but he isn't as informed as he should be if he really wants to encourage and support breastfeeding mamas. That's why I suggested writing to him and pointing out the flaws in his quiz as well as the poor wording in the results. Plus... did you notice that each wrong answer gets a red X, the word WRONG highlighted in red and the sentence "Your answer is wrong!" before the explanation.

I, too, figured out which answers "they" wanted but answered with the choice that most accurately reflected what I know to be the truth. :-)

well, it is just a quiz by someone with their own opinions, and seemingly
their own agenda, ....like maybe selling the stuff advertised on that page?

Anyway, back to the quiz: In my case, in spite of Bfdg three kids, plus
30yrs of MCH nursing experience, 15+yrs working w/ IBCLC credential, making an "A" on the 10yr recert exam, I missed a couple of those questions.

I knew what answers *they wanted*, but I disagreed, so I put the answer that
came closest to *my* correct answer, to make a point.

My reasoning was that if they see that certain questions get a high rate of
"wrong" answers, they will revise or throw-out the question eventually, if
they are paying attention.
