Hi all,
I have tried to search the archives and have had no luck getting the search to
complete, so I thought I would ask all of you instead. I hope you do not
mind. I am assisting a mom who will be adopting a baby in the next 9-12months
and she wants to breastfeed this baby. I have helped moms before and all they
did was pump and get the babe to breast as soon as possible with a
supplementer. Are there any new options. I would prefer not to recommend
drugs if possible. What about pumping and the use of herbs?
What is the earliest she should begin to pump? I read Dr. Jack's article and
it talked about pumping for as long as 4 months, what about 9? Is this too
early to start?

Thanks in advance,
Amy Woodcox
