I have permission to post. I had a call from a mom who is BF her 21 mo
daughter. She has not resumed her menstrual cycle. She recently decreased from
6 to 5 feeds with the intent to cut back enough to try to get pregnant.
Shortly thereafter she cramped for 2 weeks and then had sore nipples for 4 days. She
did have unprotected intercourse in the time frame before the cramping. Home
pregnancy tests are not reliable for her as it didn't show strongly positive
when she pregnant with the child she has now. Everything she has read says her
symptoms could be a sign of pregnancy. Her question is this: how long do the
sore nipples last if one is pregnant and still breastfeeding? Thank you for
