Marla (our head LC) has been asked to respond to a journal article by the
new neonatologist in our NICU (he was raised on Similac and thinks he's
fine). Which should tell you what we are up against. Anyway, Marla is
looking for feedback and intellegent responses, and asked me to post. The
article is called "Feeding Responses to Free Flow Formula in Term and
Preterm Infants" It was in the Journal of Pediatrics, March 1998

Has anyone read the article or does anyone use this practice in their NICU.
The article is about a study done by Washington University in ST. Louis and
does not appear to have formula company sponsorship.

Thanks for your input
Peg Merrill, IBCLC
