ONE MORE TIME, from the top:

"Free" supplies of formula, "gift" bags, etc are NOT FREE. They are
expensive advertising and marketing gimmicks. To pay for these items, the
manufacturer must raise the cost of the end product. Therefore, MOTHERS who
can't, won't, or don't breastfeed end up paying for all this stuff.

Mothers who don't, won't or can't breastfeed do not need any MORE financial
burdens on them. Bad enough that they have to buy the stuff - they should
not have to ALSO pay for the pens, coffee cups, receptions, etc that are
built into the price of the products they must use to keep their babies
alive and somewhat healthy.

Are you ready for the true implications of this? Anytime a health
professional accepts a "free" gift, they should have to face just ONE
formula-feeding mother and tell her straight out, to her face: "Thanks for
the lunch - it was great. Too bad you didn't get to eat it too."

The phrase "exploitation" of women comes quickly to mind.
