Mary Ann Brehmer asks if anyone has seen breastfeeding after removal of a
nipple ring.  I have.  Mom took out the ring in first trimester of preg.
Tissue grew back together and early post-partum was uneventful.  I phoned
her back about 3 months pp just to see how everything was going and it was
still uneventful.  I suppose that things could vary greatly from situation
to situation depending on how the piercing was done, etc.  But this mom was
just fine.
