While I am on maternity leave, I am preparing a staff newsletter for
all OB
staff and docs about breastfeeding/lactation. I ask my fellow
Lactnetters
this: what topics would you consider vital to publish? What could be
tackled/addressed first? Do you have a favorite format?

What a great project. One page is short enough that people might
actually look at it. What counts as OB staff? Is that L&D and not post
partum or are they all considered OB staff? Can you begin with the
basics, lots of skin to skin, bfing within the first hour after birth,
and when to call a LC in? How about some "fun facts" about bf and about
formula that these people may not know but should. Can they submit
questions for future issues, that will help engage them in the
newsletter.
Just a few suggestions off the top of my head. Let us know how it comes
out.
