The question immediately came up in my LLL circles of who was conducting such a well compensated study.

I checked with the study director and the study is funded by the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (NIOSH) a research branch of CDC.  It is not affiliated with any private companies [formula or pump] and is for research purposes only.
