In the US, we are well aware of how much ground we have to make up for all we've lost in regards to breastfeeding.  Getting back to breastfeeding as the norm of infant feeding seems so far away.  I was reminded of this as I was watching "Funniest Home Videos" with my son this morning before school.  The show will try to group and categorize  videos based on themes and topics, and one theme that they created was video clips from the "Naughty" file.  They showed a clip of a baby around 9 months old at a store.  The baby was reaching for a female mannequin and began trying to move her shirt to nurse and play with the breasts.  It's what we always see breastfeeding babies do - very normal to see for me (and my son), but not for our society.  I wonder if we'll ever see a video on the show from the "Naughty" file showing a baby drinking formula from a bottle.......
