Hi Mary,

I wanted to make clear that when i was talking about "cozying up" to a
company I was not refering to those who rent pumps or sell Medela products
(I used to do that mysefl.} It was a reference to receiving
freebies/soliciting funds for conferences/assuming that relationships with
reps were true friendships and not business-related. It is a problem that we
all wrestle with as we search for financial partners in our pursuit of
providing breastfeeding support.

Good luck in your journey with Medela. I have no idea if they will "punish"
you for what you are doing. What are other LC's out there doing about any of
this? Any word from those who have attempted to dialogue with their reps
about this situation?

Sharon
