Hello,

I´ve a question about a mother who has got her third baby by cesarean . Her first baby was breastfeed 4 weeks, her second baby wasn´t breastfeed and she wants to breastfeed the third one but when the calostrum letdown she has noticed it is really green. I´ve asked if she has eaten some vitamins or Gatorade or another similar thing but she has told me no.
I´ve looked for information in my books but only the Lawrence talks about different milk color and the explanation is that the color depends of the diet.
Does somebody know something else?

Thanks in advance

Adelina García, IBCLC
