hi debbie
i wonder if the mom you mentioned who had augmentation "tammy" had
hypoplastic breasts to begin with. yes the surgery itself can negatively
impact the lactation, but inmy experience it is moreso becoz of the
hypoplastic breats that the milk producton is so low. i usually ask about
her size andshape before the surgery. often you will discover a very
'underdeveloped' breast. yes it is also true that many very very small
breasted women can breastfeed just fine. but it is something to consider.
