This probably doesn't fit the mom you're working with -- more related to
antenatal steroids

years I've known/worked with a number of women on chronic steroids for MS,
RA, etc and they BF fine.

Was "transferring milk" assessed via pre-/post-feeding weights and, if so,
how much is baby transferring? What behaviors does baby exhibit prior to
self-detachment on each breast?  If BF is constantly complemented with 2 oz
(60 ml) is mom also pumping after BF?

Unfortunately, delayed lactogenesis 2 is becoming too common in our culture
