Our support group for BF mothers meets 2X per month. It is led by one of the
IBCLC staff. While we do not have a set agenda, the IBCLC comes prepared with
some possible topics of interest and/or some new thing to share. The model is
the LLL group. We introduce each other and if there is some topic of particular
interest or some question, the mother mentions it in her introduction. The
IBCLC takes notes and is sure that the issue is included in the discussion.

Our group is so popular with the mothers who attend it that mothers have come
after they are no longer breastfeeding, have arranged work schedule to be off
those mornings, or have missed work to come. Group mothers have requested a
toddler group (our mothers age out when baby is one year) and a nighttime
working mothers group be added.

We do not charge. We distribute the schedule and mothers come. No charge; no
appointment.
